Program Manager/Director

Position Summary
We are developing targeted therapeutics for patients with challenging, complex cancers. We employ a single cell sequencing platform to dissect the biology of immune cells in human tumors and identify novel, exciting oncology targets. We are currently advancing multiple programs toward early human studies.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for driving forward our immuno-oncology research and development programs through preclinical and clinical studies. In collaboration with a technical co-lead, the PM/PD will be responsible for building and executing detailed project plans and ensuring a highly collaborative and communicative environment within the project teams.
This position will follow the competitive landscape for the programs, proactively raise and solve cross functional issues during development, and develop an understanding of the key challenges and opportunities for the programs.

 Responsibilities will include:
• Building and maintaining complex project plans and budgets
• Ensuring effective and timely communication to team members and senior management
regarding project status, key milestones, achievement of external and internal
commitments, timelines, budgets, and key events
• Driving cross-functional alignment and team recommendations to facilitate decision-
making
• Identifying potential strategic or operational issues impacting or hindering execution of
the program plans, escalating these to the team and management
• Exerting broad influence by establishing trust and effective relationships among key
team members
• Ensuring effective communication, including clear expectations for deliverables, across
the teams and throughout the organization, including drafting and distribution of
agendas, key takeaways, and action items.
• Develop and maintain detailed research plans including timelines, budget, assumptions,
and decision points
• Identifies learnings opportunities for synergies across the portfolio
• Proactively identify risks and works with scientific team to develop risk mitigation plans

Requirements:
• BS/MS with at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including increasing levels of responsibility within program management
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage highly detailed workflow while also seeing a broader perspective
• Immuno-oncology Phase 1-2 development experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with antibody CMC processes preferred
• Experience managing external academic collaborations preferred
• Proficient in project management, resource planning, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others from a position of influence,
negotiate conflict situations, and to forge consensus between differing viewpoints
• Self-disciplined individual able to work independently and apply good judgment across a
variety of issues
