The VP of Corporate Development is a key leadership role responsible for guiding the organization”s strategic growth and direction. Reporting to the SVP of Corporate Development, this position leads corporate strategy development, oversees M&A and strategic alliances, manages key projects, and supports the CEO.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement corporate development strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships, alliances, and M&A opportunities
• Lead sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of acquisition and merger deals
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and investment opportunities
• Oversee due diligence for partnerships, alliances, and M&A
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to negotiate and execute agreements
• Ensure successful integration of acquisitions and partnerships with organizational goals
• Analyze industry trends to identify growth opportunities and risks
• Provide strategic insights to the executive team and board
• Cultivate relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders
• Lead and mentor the corporate development team, focusing on team growth
• Manage projects to ensure execution within established timelines
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of strategic partnerships, alliances, and M&A opportunities
• Align cross-functional teams with corporate strategies and initiatives
• Represent the organization in external forums and negotiations
• Promote innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in corporate development
• Support fundraising efforts
• Advise the CEO on strategic matters
• Perform other assigned job-related duties
Requirements:
• Bachelor”s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transactions, partnerships, alliances, and M&A with strong financial acumen
• Experience working directly with a CEO
• Proven business planning expertise
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Established network and experience in relevant industries
• Proven success in identifying, negotiating, and executing strategic partnerships and M&A
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders
• Collaborative working style with influence across functions
