The Associate will be a key member of an experienced team building a world-class investment banking practice focused on emerging growth healthcare companies. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of originating, structuring and executing Public Equity and M&A transactions for clients in the biopharma sector. This position offers direct client CEO and CFO contact, significant responsibility and opportunity for advancement. The ideal candidate will have previous healthcare investment banking experience at the Associate or Analyst level.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of execution of investment banking transactions
- Assist in preparation of presentations for current and prospective clients
- Perform and supervise preparation of valuation analyses of clients and targets
- Perform due diligence investigations
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Healthcare Investment Banking preferred; Investment banking and/or corporate finance experience required
- Exemplary academic record; finance and life sciences undergraduate experience preferred; MBA, MD or life sciences PhD is a plus
- Financial modeling and analytical skills are necessary
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic work environment
